h22 in 92 cx hatch,,, will JRSC fit?
I did some research,, never found anything to support what i was looking for...
some people said youll need to fabricate the shock tower to make room for the pulleys and stuff. ANYone have any pics of this setup? do they exist?
yeah yeah i could turbo it,, but i have my GSR for that
h22 SC'ed in a hatch will haul ***, and yet retain the sleeper look 
----let me know if it can be done and how much of a pain in the *** it is! i will be using HCP mounts, DSS stage III axles, quiafe LSD. This car will rip!

dont know if it will work. i did a search and really didnt find anything either. i would assume no because of the placement of the motor. try it and let us know

i know that in an EG hatch that the intake manifold sits about 1" away from the prop valve. its a tight fit. if the JRSC sits further back in the prelude that the stock manifold then i doubt it will fit.
im sure if you really want it to fit.. you could move a few things or even cut the firewall a bit.
a JRSC H22A would be sick..

I think it will kick *** actually but it'll probably be on the expensive side. Hypothetically, you can put it in but you will have to cut out some of the firewall and since it's such a tight fit, you will definately need to drop the motor out first, install it, stick it back in. If you do this, the setup would be one of a kind since I haven't heard anyone pull this one off. Good Luck with the setup.

you can do anything if you really want, it just depends how much work and money you want it to involve.
ive never seen a sc'ed h22 hatch, but if anyone finds one or does it id love to see it

well, when i sell my single turbo 93 Rx7,,, that takes care of the money issues,,, as for the time issues... i live in Ill Annoy (illinios) so i have the next 6 months of **** weather to work on the project in the garage.
Anyone have pics of the JRSC on a h22 in a Prelude?? this way i can get a basic feel as to where all the belts and hardware are mounted on it. Also to see if it gets closer to the firewall and all that good stuff.
This is basically gonna be a weekend/drag car, so i dont care too much if i butch the firewall up a ton,,, hey, less weight!

Just managed to find some pics of 96-up ludes with the JRSC,,, tight *** fit by the firewall,,, i think i could manage the pulley side. Seems like it may be a really tight fit in the EG chassis... but then again,,, i do have all winter

I've been tossing the idea of running this type of supercharger. I sure I could make a bracket where the A/C compressor would sit and try to stuff this thing in there.

on mine the shock tower and firewall/prop valve are so close that reworking of the sheet metal would hahve to be done. in teh case of teh shockt tower i dont know whata you could do since i would be very concerned about the structural integrity of it after cutting a big piece of it out of the way.

What i would cut out, i will make a peice out of metal,, except it will be indented or pushed back to allow room. Ill weld it in just to have the structural suport. also a good upper strut bar will help.
--So far my biggest concern is the firewall clearance,, i wont be too enthused to reroute the brake distribution block. Then a gain 6 months is a long time...

I think the s/c will be sitting very very close to the firewall. I have a pic somewhere on my comp of a jrsc h22 in a civic hatch, and it looked clean. I also think that Doc Charles did one of these before and ran with no problems. But not 100% on that.

dood... If you could find pics and post,, or at least me able to send me one. that would be excellent. The car would be a mad sleeper/smote car with this setup.
BTW do JRSC's have a fairly long life to them>? i do a lot of driving, granted this wont be my daily driver, but the track i go to is 100miles away. Miles add up quick!
