h22 92 civic hatch....how is the ride?
ive heard that the ride is not good at all when it comes to an h22 in an eg due to the fact that u have to use polyurethaine mounts. is this true. people who know (not THINK they know) please help. im also assuming that an h22 eg, power wise, will be insane, and that makes me happy. but my main concern is the ride, how is it

polyurethane mounts cause a lot of vibration to be transferred from the motor to the chassis, this has nothing to do with which motor is in your car. You'll get used to it, just part of the game.

I don't drive mine everyday, but when I do drive it, it feels good, like most other swaps. Just do it you'll like it.

Very true, either hcp or hasport make great h22 in eg mounts. I like my hcp's, plus the price was better for me. The ride is fine for me, not my daily driver though.
Check the sticky up at the top and youl find out everything you need to know about the swap.

I think you mean balance shaft belt. Manual tensioner > Auto tensioner, but you need one of the two.

Re: (HavokB18)
If you want a fast car, suck it up...I removed the balance shafts from my H22 in my EG, and I have Avid mounts, it hugs corners, but as far as comfort, I give it a 7.2 out of 10. By a CRV if you want a good ride.
