Default H22 in 88-91 Civic ???


How hard is it to swap a H22 into a 91 civic Si ? I kinda know the facts of swapping a B series into a civic but i am just curious to what all one would need to get a H22 under a 91 si hatch........

it's hard. u have to cut or hammer part of the firewall. Not worth it for street.

Place Racing just came out with a BOLT IN kit!! There website is still under construction but you can call them.

as far as i know place only has the weld in kit, that is what i used. There was no hemmering on the firewall only cutting the passenger side frame rail and cutting all the spotwelds for the left and right mounts and welding in the new mounts. you will also need the new front crossmember PRI offers and modify your radius arms.As far as the wiring goes, PRI can help.

Very big motor for little engine bay... I would go with a B18C personally. But if you do go H22A and it turns out right, it would be bad ***!
