H-T SWAP GURU'S, I NEED YOUR HELP!
ALSO POSTED IN EG/EK FORUM...SORRY FOR THE DUPLICATE
I HAVE A 97 CX WITH 95 GSR MOTOR
MOTOR IS ALREADY HUNG IN CAR, HAD TO PURCHASE A 99-00 B SERIES REAR MOUNT (IS THAT RIGHT?)
PURCHASED OBD2A TO OBD1 WIRE CONVERSION HARNESS FROM BLOWN90HATCH (THANKS A LOT BRO!)
FROM WHAT I KNOW NOW I NEED TO CONVERT ALL THE WIRING ON THE MOTOR TO A 96-97 GSR WIRING LOOM. ALSO THE INJECTORS OR WHAT NOT.
WHAT WILL WORK SO I CAN GET THIS GOING? I SEARCHED UNDER SOME DIFFERENT KEYWORDS AND COULDNT GET ANY GOOD INFO. I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN DISCUSSED A MILLION TIMES ON THIS BOARD SO I AM SORRY FOR THE REPETITIVENESS. ALSO I HAVE CAPS LOCK ON SINCE I AM AT WORK...SORRY FOR THE SENSITIVE READERS OUT THERE!

Easy on the caps, guy.
1. You need a 99-00 Civic Si reat bracket. Sounds like you have that...
2. obd2 to obd1 harness
3. You DO NOT need need to convert all the wiring to fit a gsr harness. You need to add a few wires, change a few plugs, extend a sensor or two.
4. See the links in my signature for all the other info you should need.

yes on "t" bracket.
yes on jumper.
no on gsr harness.
use your stock harness and mock it up on your engine before you drop it in. plug everything in and add wires. you'll need to add vtec signal and vtec pressure, lenghthen tps and iacv. iacv will change from 3 wire iacv to 2 wire, and add in knock sensor wire and extend wires for primary o2 sensor. plug it up and go!

So if you had an obdI gsr harness it will plug into the plugs that go inside the firewall for an obdIIa car then you just use an obd2a to obdI ecu conversion harness right?
