h series in 92 ls teg
People have said that H series engines are good for second gen integras. Is this true and would it bolt to the existing engine mounts? I would probably also swap the tranny. Could anyone estimate prices without an install and also maybe some hp, torque, disp, and redline numbers also. thanks for all the help.

I don't know much about 2g tegs but you would need a mount kit to get it in there. And you would have to swap the tranny because your current one won't bolt up to the H22. I have seen H22 engines anywhere from 2300-3300 depending on year. You should be able to put around 170 to the ground.

a friend of mine is trying this swap right now. it will work but it is way more work than it is worth. no one makes a mount kit for the swap, the intake will not fit between the firewall and the head so a new one has to be made, we still have to figure out what to do for drive shafts. we have been working on it for about 6 weeks and still have a long way to go. you will need to figure a way to make a cable clutch pedal work too.
