Default GSR or Type R injectors

I have a 92 civic with a b18c. current mods are Aem intake, JDM DC headers, exhaust with testpipe. MSD with a coil, Aem cam gears, aem fuel rail and regulator. Mugen clutch with Exceddy flywheel. Apexi v-afc and a ITC. I have some Integra type r injectors that someone gave me. Someone told me that they will make a big difference in my car is that true or not. Right now i have the stock GSR injectors.

All the Civic and Integra injectors (Type R included) are 240 cc/min. They are all the same flow rate.

Are you sure. Why would a 1.5 non vtec civic need the same amount of fuel as a 1.8 vtec motor. I don't know much about this stuff but it just doesen't sound right. So if i have a GSR motor i can put civic injectors if i want? Not that i would or anything

They are all the same. The ECU controls how much they spray.
I think the Prelude VTEC injectors are a little larger. Don't know the exact flow rate.

Ok so inother words my mechanic is full or ****. The injectors won't do anything to help me car right? WAit so in other words even if i end up going turbo and i buy larger injectors would i have to do anything with the ECU to make it spray more fuel

prelude injectors are 270cc, so would i be safe in assuming that injectors from a '90 accord would also be 270cc.?

All Civic and Integra injectors are 240cc/min

93-96 Prelude SRV injectors are 310cc/min

97-01 Prelude (all of them) are 290cc/min

As to the rest of them (Accord, Prelude SR, Si, etc...) no hard and fast facts here, but they are believed to be 240cc/min as well.

If you put bigger injectors in your motor, the ECU controls the fuel based on time, so if the injector flows more fuel for the same amount of time, the engine will get more fuel. The various motors need different amounts of fuel, and if they all have the same size injectors, then the ECU tells them to inject for more or less time depending on the engines requirements (a 240cc/min injector in an ITR will be held open longer, and at a higher fuel pressure than a 240cc/min injector in a 1.5 litre Civic CX motor).

Something that many people encounter when doing swaps, is they figure "I don't know how long these injectors have been sitting in this motor, so I'll put my Civic injectors into this GSR motor, because I know that my Civic injectors are working". What these people don't realise is that their Civic injectors with 100,000 miles on them are kinda dirty, and maybe a bit worn, and suddenly their GSR motor is not performing up to standars. The GSR motor is working the injectors a little harder than the Civic motor, and these poor worn injectors can't keep up. So they pick up a set of ITR injector from a 98 or 00 motor with maybe 20,000 miles on them, and put them in, and suddenly the motor makes tons more power, so they immediately make the assumption that ITR injectors flow more than Civic injectors. Well, they don't!

Just thought i'd add; 93-96 Prelude injectors flow 340-345cc with 43psi fuel pressure @ 80% duty cycle.

S2000 injectors are rated at 420cc under the same conditions.
