gsr swap wiring help please!!!
Engine: 96 JDM OBD2 GSR (complete swap from HMO)
ECU: 96 GSR JDM ECU
Wiring Harness: USDM obd2
Car: 93 del sol s obd1
A few questions here:
- Since the ecu isn't looking for the VTEC pressure switch I can just ignore that connect on the harness, correct?
- JDM VTEC solenoid has 1 wire, harness has 2, is there a way to re-wire or do I just need to buy the USDM VTEC Solenoid?
- Knock sensor?
- Crank position sensor?
- Anything else I am missing?
Thanks!!!

Re: gsr swap wiring help please!!!
The jdm vtec only uses one wire. So you do not need to worry about the oil pressure. Depending on ecu used. You can allways trick the ecu into thinking the oil pressure is there by tapping into pin a4 to d6. Why not run the car on obd1?
