Gsr swap Boggs
I just bought this swapped civic and it has a problem when I drive the car and pop vtec and I let off and put in the clutch the car turns off.I have to pop the clutch or crank it again. Also around 1500-2000 rpms the idle goes up and down. The guy I bought it off of said its the idle control valve but idk I want to see what you guys think

The cel was 14 I cleaned out the idle control valve with carb cleaner but it still pulles the 14 cel I was also told my timing sounds like its off but I'm new too this. I looked at the cam gears and there both at the same spot so then timing at the dizzy? I need help.

Ok since I cleaned the idle control valve and the cel light still stayed on . I opened up the ecu and noticed a resistor that had a broken solder joint I fixed it the cel light went away but the idle still acts dumb at around 1500~ and dies after I slow down from hitting vtec. I'm so lost on what to do now since I don't have any cel's
