GSR motor
Okay...I found a rock solid 2000 GSR motor. It has 22,000 miles on it. It is still in the chasis and was totaled from the rear end (no engine damage). The complete changeover will cost $4,000 and the guy is throwing in GSR rims. I thinking it is kind of on the expensive side...what does you guys think.
BTW, what will I be running will this motor dropped in my 95 civic coupe?

Re: GSR motor  (dragonsmp)
If thats the cost for the complete turn-key swap then it's a deal. the GSR swap PARTS ALONE usually goes for $3,000 to $3,500. I got my swap, a 97 GSR that only had 10,000 on it, for $3,500 but it was missing some important pieces and the axles were crap so I ended up putting another five or six hundred into it after all was said and done. I did all the work myself so I still feel that I came out ahead.
So yeah, it's a hook up. Go for it.

Re: GSR motor  (92sleepR)
Well I just bought the motor today. After negotiaion I walked out paying $3,800 ... I guess it not to bad considering the fact that it is a 1999 GSR motor with only 21,000 miles on it. Can't wait to get it in. However, I will have to sacrifice going without turbo for a while, as I will not have the money to rebuy a kit till I sell my SOHC greddy kit.
