gsr into cx using EMS
We're wiring a GSR into CX using AEM EMS. Does the EMS require the knock sensor? If wiring the knock sensor is important, any links or pictures to help do it?
Also, the vtec wiring should already be complete, correct?
We're using the stock harness for the civic chassis and stock gsr harness on the b18.

Re: gsr into cx using EMS (jmagner)
If it's a 92 cx, the vtec is there, normally you would need the knock sensor, but I didn't know if you need it with the EMS.
Some one please let us know, because I'm in the same boat as this guy.......

I thought the EMS worked with a base tune, say you would want the base tune to be an OBD1 P72 GSR ECU. From there you can enable/disable certain sensors such as the knock sensor.

Re: gsr into cx using EMS (VTECVillain)
ok, do you know where I could locate the obd1 p72 equivilent base tune? I posted on aem forums but they move very slowly and I can't find a calibration file that is equal to stock. Thanks if you can help.
