GSR header with O2 sensor for hybrid
I put a ODB1 JDM GSR into my 95 EX. The stock header on the GSR has a hole for an 02 sensor. I went today and picked up a DC sports one piece, 4-1 header for a 94-98 GSR part 6607. I noticed it doesn't have a spot for the 02 sensor. I looked at the 2000 GSR header and it did have one. I'm still using my stock Civic cat, which has no 02 sensor on it.
So which header should I get, and still have everything line up correctly? The 2000 GSR header or something else? Thanks.

Are you getting codes? If you are running an OBDI P72, you shouldn't throw codes if your cat has no Os sensor, I think it only looks for O2 sensor from the header. I have a 00 gsr motor in my 93 hatch, running an OBDI P72, have an O2 sensor on the header but none on cat and no codes.

Re: GSR header with O2 sensor for hybrid (Guardson3r3)
I'm not getting any codes relating to the 02 sensor, cause I haven't changed anything yet. I'm just confused about my engine, because it's JDM. My stock header has a 02 sensor hole and nothing on the EX cat. But the new GSR header I got today doesn't have a hole for 02. Is that because GSRs of that year have them in the cat? So if I'm going to keep my stock cat, could I just pick up the 2000 GSR header? Will it bolt up to the block with no problems? Thanks.

Put the O2 sensor into the cat pipe. I have a Bosal stainless header and it also doesnt have the o2 bung in it. I had the bung welded into the cat pipe.

Hey:
I got a Comptech header for a Type R for my 95 CX hybrid. It has a bung for the 02 sensor in nearly the stock location.

Man just buy a 99-00 Si header and dont worry about anything. The o2 sensor will be perfect and it will bolt to you exhaust.

Re: GSR header with O2 sensor for hybrid (tSuperbike69)
Ok, so I bought a 99-00 SI 4-1 ceramic header, and IT DIDN'T FIT. It's not tall enough! I repeat, IT DOESN'T FIT for a 5th gen civic. I noticed that the bracket was hitting on the oil pan, so I cut off part of the bracket to make room, then I noticed it wasn't tall enough. So now I'm stuck with this header that I can't return, and have no use for.
So If I'm going to get a header, which one do I need? A 2000 GSR header, because thats the only one that has a sensor for the 02? This is pissing me off.

I am pretty sure you need a b18 header. Buy a DC header for a 00 GSR and try it. The b16 is shorter so the header wont fit. What kind and style did you buy? I might be interested in it if you want to get rid of it.
