GSR/EK loopy idle
Hey guys,
I have a JDM B18C1 in my 2000 Civic Hatchback. I did the swap myself, and everything went pretty well until about a week ago. I was driving, when I got a CEL and idled around 3k rpm. Throughout the next week I diagnosed the problem (TPS) and attempted to recalibrate it (that didn't work). So I ordered a JG Edelbrock 65mm throttlebody, as it came with a precalibrated TPS. Having just completed the install of the throttlebody, I fired it up, and it idled around 2k rpm, no CEL though. I revved it up to 3k, and then all went to heck. The engine idle now fluctuates from 1k-2k.... no CEL though. I have heard that it could be from water in the coolant system, or a bad IACV. My IACV is not on my TB, so if someone could tell me where it is that would be fantastic as well.
Thanks a lot.
