Default GSR crank Type-R block

I want to keep this super specific, GSR crank and Type-R block compatibility, I don't want to get into my build or stray from the question; that topic and everything else can be for another post. Does anyone see an issue with using a GSR crank with a Type-R block? I picked up the block super cheap over a year ago, friends couldn't finish build, and I have a GSR crank from my previous motor. The GSR crank should be similar to a Type-R crank correct? Will the crank hit the oil squirters? I was going to run an LS crank but I don't want to give up the squirters.
