Default gsr in 00 civic

I put a gsr motor into a 00 civic ex, what harness work needs to be done to make it work w/ a 01 gsr ecu...thank very very very much

00 civic harness doesn't plug into gsr ecu or distributor

No such thing as OBDIII

There is OBDII.2 in reference to the plugs not the program

99-00 Si have those ECU plugs. Not sure about the 99-01 tegs.....

the 99-01 have the same plugs but you have to repin one or two of them . talk to kenji he knows which ones it is

I'm the original poster, just got my own username. In a 99-00 civic ex, you use the EX or SI wiring harness (if you use the EX you need to re-pin the distributor connector on the harness with a GSR, SI, or 96-98 EX distributor connector) and then run a jumper from the engine and interior wiring harness to the gsr ecu. took a long time to figure this swap out, but now that it's in i love it. I'll love it even more once i get the jumper.
