Default Got a question about the B series and H series in a 96-00 Civic

OK heres my first question its about the B series...

1. Ok I know my JDM GSR motor pushes a base hp of 180 and about 160whp, now I know I out run the 94-98 V6 mustangs stock, but if my numbers are correct, and since I have a fully built bottom end motor, and I drop a FMAX Stage 2 kit on there which adds about 282whp between 8-7psi but if I turn the boost up between 12-15 psi I could see my 390whp but with only 282whp just starting off, wouldnt I out run the 93-98 Camaro Z28, and the 95-03 Mustang GT's and Cobras without a problem?

2.To anyone with a H22a swap out in a 96-00 Civic EX coupe, is it worth it to get an H22 swap? cause I heard it weighs you down alot compared to the B, D and K series swap.

i've driven a GSR eg coupe (stripped) and it was decent..but it didn't have the torquey feel to it like my h22 EK hatch...if i were to do it again..i would still do an h22 over a b series..just my opinion..H22 doesn't weigh much more than a b.series once you add a lightened flywheel/clutch combo, carbon fiberhood, lighter wheels, minus powersteering, minus ac, minus airbox/resonator, etc, so that argument isn't too strong anymore & you'll have forearms like no other

well kinda too late now since my civic is wrecked...so either I might go with b18c1 again or either H22 depending on wats cheaper.

Bench racing, Yes, you *could*, but who says you are a good driver?

Yes, just did one. Was it worth it? Yes, but you do what you want with your money. I personal like the torque of a h-series, but I love B-series potenial.

Well maybe its time to drop the B series and add the H series in there...because when I wanted to put a H22 in there when I started to get into cars, but after the wreck I just might get the H22 anyways, if I can afford the h22a the SH motor
