There is no comparison! I went from a B16 in my 92 hatch and recently swapped it out for a H22. The difference is night and day! The H is a whole new animal....

What's the spec on the ls/vtec? Anything other than slapping on the vtec head on an ls block?

There are far more parts available for a b series. The H motors have problems breaking axles in civics because of the angle the axle ends up at. They also mount weird, which seems to cause extra stress on the mounts and literally tear them from the frame. This is from my personal experience btw. I would recommend b series, but the h22 is a great motor. Either way.

Yes, B series is more stock and requires less custom parts. The H has nice power right out of the box, but the more I have mine, the more I wonder if an LS turbo would have been fun as well. I haven't really had any problems, but the whole swap involved a little more than I wanted. But, now that its in, its hella fast!
