going from euro obd2 to obd1, few questions about alternator.
hello everybody.
i want to swap my ecu to P28 obd1.
currantly i got a european wiring harness.
my alternator has 3 wires but the car i'm pulling the harness from has 4 wires on to the alternator....
is there any way to hack somthing without changing the alternator. or get a check engine light?

i just checked the 3 wires of the alternator on my car,
and the colors are:
yellow\red
yellow\blue
yellow\black
and the colors are:
yellow\red
yellow\blue
yellow\black

Here is some pictures from autodata 2004..
The D14A has 1 wire to the ECU and the D16Z has 2 wire to the ECU!
The D14A has 1 wire to the ECU and the D16Z has 2 wire to the ECU!
