Default General question about a 91 hatch swap

Please bare with me as I don't know a lot of info about the car. My brother in law has a 91 hatch (don't know the lettering), 4 speed I believe, non VTEC. He plans to have it in fair condition for my niece when she turns sixteen (we have a bit to work on it). He is wanting me to do the paint/body work b/c I'm good, and cheap for him. I told him I thought the best way to go (cheapest way with some power) would be an obd1 b18b swap, however in the classifieds this morning I found a d16y8 swap (supposed to be everything needed as far as axles/ecu motor and tranny from a civic EX I believe). Basically my question is how hard is that swap? I just wanted to know if there are any problems with it that don't arise with other swaps? Sorry for my very vauge and general question, but if anyone can help at all I'd appreciate it.
