Default gen2 integra swap

i have a 90 integra and it has 184,000 and needs a head gasket and it burns about a quart of oil a week so it is swap time....my buddy has a 96 ls motor and i need to know what i would have to do with the tranny swap...becuase mine is cable and the 96 is hydraulic. i know i could just use my tranny and make things simple but the synchros are goin out of 3 and 4...also is the 96 ls obd1 or 2

Your 1990 B18A motor is the same as the 1996 B18B motor.... just newer with very minute differences in the head. If you just want to change long blocks, use all of the sensors, manifolds, parts, off of your Integra and you can use the 96 LS motor. Clutch & flywheel will all swap over, as well as your cable tranny bolting onto the 96 motor..... they're both LS motors so same ****.
