Gauge cluster swap for 92-95 civic with GSR
Ok i have a 93 civic dx with a 2000 gsr in it and i put in the 92-95 ex cluster with the tach. The tach does not work but everyhitng else does. My friend told me i have to run a wire from the distributor to the wire harness. Anyone know how i can get the tach to work. Like i said the motor is usuing an obd II wire harness. Thanks

Re: Gauge cluster swap for 92-95 civic with GSR (EXACCORD95)
yup.
i have a 93cx and thast what i did.
ppl on this board told me to run it to the engine bay and there is a wire there by the driver windshield;connected to nothing......they say it works but didnt for me.
i think cx and not srue about dx, but they dont come equiped..so u have to take off your distributor cap and tap into it..u dont have to if u know what wire, but i jsut did to be sure.

When you do a B series swap into an EG. (me doing a b16 into EX civ) will the tach be accurate or will it be off?
