Icon2 Gas mileage for B18C

I have a 97 civic hatch and planning to have it swapped with a B18C. I want the performance but I am also concerned about the gas mileage. Are there any out there who has this same swap with the same car? how are you doing with gas?
I do not plan to put a turbo or any modification. I just need it stock.

also...
I live by San Diego the charge is $3500, is this reasonable?
Is a K20A swap possible with my car and is it worth the added cost instead of going with a B18C.

Charge is $3500??? What exactly does that mean?

32.5 average in my 94 civic w/ 99 gsr swap. I have every bolt on possible and have never managed to stay out of the throttle to try and improve my economy. Too much fun.

There is enough discussion on K vs B so I will let you search that one

They charge $3500 for the motor and the engine swap. However reading through the confusion of smog laws here, it looks like its more complicated than what I expected.
