Default Full swap or not, I'm just about ready to pull the trigger.

Hey guys, I'm hoping this is the right forum for this q. Anyway, I'm lookin' to get a full gsr swap off of hmotorsonline. It's a little pricey but they have such a good rep so that should be worth some assurance. Anyway, the full swap is $500 more than just the motor, tranny, and ecu. The only additonal items listed are stock motor mounts, shift linkage, and axles. Are these three extra items worth $500? What I wanna know is if I should just go ahead and get it or if I should just get motor, tranny, ecu and scrounge together the other stuff. I just wanna do it right. Sorry that was long, but thanks a bunch. Btw, it'd be going in a 93 dx hatch (d15b7 power )

I am not a eg owner but my guess I think you can use the motor mounts and shift linkage and axles. But I would recommend not paying the extra and just get new stuff new axles from schucks $60 a piece, integra shift linkage from junkyard may need to be mod? $20 and some namebrand motor mounts or no name but good quality off ebay for $140

I'm pretty sure the swap requires a combination of stock mounts and integra mounts. There are diagrams floating around for it. That's a good idea though, I'm leaning a little more towards motor, tranny, ecu. Thanks so much for the quick response, I appreciate it! Keep it coming, I may order today or very soon!

many places are different. some places will sell you the engine/tranny, but give you the shaft on the rear bracket, half shaft, and even side mount brackets. others will give it all to you. I would probably just invest the extra $500 if i were in your shoes. Linkage is $135 (youll get the shifter if your lucky) , mounts are about $120, and shafts are about $120, thats $365 with out peice of mind of getting everything you need.
