Well we got the F20B from Hmotorosonline.com from Steve for $1100 Shipped. Which I will recommend them for any motor swap, there motor was super clean!!!

And Seth at QSD explained the whole kit, and it fit very very well No issues at all.

Also we took the car for a drive today open header, and DAMN!!! It was super loaud, and pulled like a mother!!!! It is ALOT faster than the built and tuned gsr we had. We laid rubber in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd just by rolling into it in first. This is a very very fast all motor car. I cant wait for the nitrous next month. I will update with track times next week.

And as for the crank pulley we just got a light weight pulley and machined the power steering part off on our brake lathe LOL...

Thanx all for looking. It is a very fun car now, and it runs very very well. I would reccomend this swap to anyone over a K-swap.

Yes, we didnt have to grind but hey we wnated too LOL...

And when I had a Ef with a B16a swap I had to bang the frame rail to fit the alternator. So to me this is just like a B-series swap..

It really wasnt that difficult with power tools, and a lift. Now in your home garage yes it would be hard and time consuming.

We just removed the balancer shaft belt. It works fine with out them. Just take the timing belt cover off, and cut the balancer shaft belt. Done.

As for a/c u might be able too, but we arent keeping it. It looks like the h22a a/c compressor will fit, but you will need to get custom lines made for sure.

Thanx guys, well today we got the Vtec working, and he raced one of my friends with a K24/K20 swapped Eg with type-s tranny. My bro beat the K-swapped hatch every race by about 1 car length. And that hatch runs low 13's at the 1/4 mile track. It runs very well, it is still open header, and just sounds like a monster!!! I am very thrilled about this build....

F/H2B > K-swap.....This time.

I am not sure why they do block off plates. But i just cut the belt and everything is running fine. All the balancer shafts due to keep engine vibration down. So just cutting the belt wont hurt anything. The engine seems fine without them, no extra vibrations at all.

the balance shafts weigh like 10 lbs, by removing that junk you can reduce a decent amount of weight. The BS block off plates are especially nice for when you have very little frame rail clearance like on the H2D

Oh ok gotcha. I was wondering why people remove them. The weight factor. and I did notice that u will have better clearance. I got about 1/2 inch till i am on the frame rail with my car.

dude, it's going to be just like all the other H2B guys, you have to bend the header.

The H engine leans towards the firewall in the lude, now it sits vertical.

Thanx man, I am very glad I could help out. That is why I made this thread to help fellow honda-techers out.

As for as how fast it should be. I am not sure I would say with a bad driver with traction at least a high 13, with traction and good driver low13's to high 12. You need the driver mod if u want some good times.

The biggest problem we are having with this car is traction, We have Drag Radials on it now and we still have tons of wheel spin in first when vtec activates, and 2nd as well. This car has tons of power everywhere. Have fun.

well thats VERY good to hear! it will be nice to smash on my fiends b16's and gsr's with a stock motor. all of them are saying how stupid i am for buying all of this stuff. they all just say " got to do the b-series" well i want to be different. and it is really cool when people go to the races and when someome askes " what ya got in there" and u can tell them something they havent even heard of!!
sorry for stupid questions but what wheels and tires to you think i should get? right now i have some 17in rims low pro's. i know they cant be the right set up but what do you recommend me getting? some guy is selling his si's but i thought they might be to skinny.
Thanks
Daron

yes you should be able to get the 615 in a size for the si wheels. i just forget the width of them. id go with a 195/55/15. i think that is the right size.

as for engine componets. there is a H2B teg with skunk2 cams running a 12.1 on slicks. i dont know what else you want to know about componets

thanks man, i will go and get those si's today for only fifty bucks. and ya i have no idea what i mean either lol, i dont have the thousands of dollars to do all of the work i hear about inside of the motor. like port and polish, sleeving and all of those goodies that i dont know much about. i just know alot about body work and cosmetics. so i was just thinking about the bolt on's that would be good, thanks for idea of the cams, i will have to look into that
