Re: Full F20c swap into an eg or ek, anyone try???! (Senses Fail y0!)
I question how well a car like that would drive.....I don't really see anything holding the motor in the bay other than its attachment to the bell housing.

You can see one of the mounts just to the right of the air filter in the picture, underneath one of the radiator hoses. The mounts are on the sides of the engine, instead of on the ends like with our FWD transverse drivetrains (this is yet another reason why so much fabrication is required to use an F20C in a Civic, longitudinally or transversely). That is how most/all longitudinally-oriented engines are mounted.

If i wanted to swap the F20C, i'll swap it to the Corolla GT-S AE86. But then again ae86 f20c lost to eg6 k20a(Hot Version 3).

anything is possible. there's no such thing as impossible when it comes to card. your only restrictions are time, money, and resources. dude on here dropped an LS V8 into his ek. he also fabbed an eg body onto a subaru wrx. it can be done, but is it really worth it? unless you are just bored and looking for something different, then jump on it. if you're looking to make a fast car, there are a plethora of routes you can go through that could make your car faster than any s2000 on the road.

Ok now I'm wanting to do this swap. but keep it front wheel drive. Is this possible? What trans bolts up to it K-series? That would be so sick to make no one has it but a few people but theirs is RwD : /
