Fuel rail mounting hardware size

Fuel rail mounting hardware size
Ive searched for a bit and cannot find an answer. My question is what is the fuel rail mounting bolt size and length for a b16a2 fuel rail on a b16a3 intake manifold. And also what to do if the middle one is stripped. Thank you

Re: Fuel rail mounting hardware size
M6x28 is the stud size, you can use equivalent bolts of course I am doing this currently with no issues. It just makes installing the rail and the little plastic spacers harder.
If one of the holes is stripped you can try running a tap or thread chaser of the same size threw it and see if you can get it to bite or drill it out to the next size up or you may be able helicoil it. But if it is the middle one that is stripped you more than likely could run it with only the outer two bolts, however it would be best to use all three.

Ok i believe the bolts im using now are 25 in length and im hoping thats the reason the middle isnt tightening. I might the next length which is 30 with a washer or 2 and see what happens. Yeah i was thinking helicoil or time sert with the m6x1.0 size. Thank you for your help
