Anything is better then the stock 72lph that the stock civic pump puts out (which is my current dilema). Its not like runnin the stock pump will keep you from runnin the motor at all (cuz im able to run mine) but you may notice a slight stutter at times.

Re: Fuel Pump for H22 Civic? (aeolus)
ok, another question then:
what would be the benifit of choosing a higher flow pump ie the 255 over a 190...? at a certain point, is it not overkill?

And the funny thing is, the price is the same for both size Walbro pumps. 255 is a lil overkill unless you're going FI with a bigger setup, but for an all motor application, the 190 lph intank fuel pump will be more than enough.

Yes, OEM will be sufficient, just not optimal.
Try a B&M Fuel pressure regulator with your new Walbro 190lph pump. Personally, I'm going with the 255, but that is because I'm not sure what my future plans will be with this motor.

Re: Fuel Pump for H22 Civic? (DarkKnight[DMD])
I've had the stock in for a little whiel and the motor seems to run pretty strong. I'd be really interested to see what the a/f ratio is at higher rpms though. I have a Walbro 255 waiting to go in this season once the weather gets a bit warmer!

Walbro is your friend. I would get the 255 because like Newman said they are practically the same price..
I would also recommend getting a FPR though so once you get it installed you can adjust for your particular setup.
