front brake conversion 90 crx hf
Sorry to those that have seen this in the tech and crx forums. They recomended that I post it here.
I'm about to swap in a b18, and discovered that I also need to replace the hubs on the front to use the axles. I planned on replacing the brakes, but I was just wondering two things...
1) If I just do the front brakes, do I have to change the master cylindar and p-valve? (I plan on doing it asap, but I'm on a tight budget)
2) If I have to replace the MC, will the MC from a 90 Integra with abs work? It also has another piece for the abs, but will the MC and booster work without it?
BTW: All of the components, axles, calipers, rotors, etc are comming off of a 90 Acura Integra GS (w/abs).
Thanks for the input

Re: front brake conversion 90 crx hf (davija)
1: It's recommended. Mushy feel doesnt feel right to me. I like a better braking response.
2: The ABS one will work fine, but you have to re-flare lines to get the lines to bolt up. The non-abs 90-93 Tegs bolt RIGHT UP!

Re: front brake conversion 90 crx hf (pest)
Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for... I'm just on a tight budget, and I can get the ABS MC really cheap in comparison to the non-ABS. One more question... Are there lines on the ABS-MC that would have to be plugged (that go to the ABS sytem)? I haven't gotten a very good look at it yet...
Thanks
Thanks
