Frankenstien crank question
I was reading somewhere that you can put an F20A(?If I remember right?) crank from an older 2.0L Lude into the b series( I don't remember if it was B16 or 18, I think it was 18) and make it a 2.0L stroker. As in, a B18A or B, if memory serves. Thus making it a 2.0L LS/VTEC....or just an LS for me, if this is correct.
Any truth to this claim?

Re: Frankenstien crank question (ntensehonda)
the old prelude motor from the 88 & 89 Si's is B20A5.
I have one of these sitting around in my garage that I've been waiting to try and see if it will work in a newer B-series block. It has a 95mm storke, which is more than the 89mm of a B18B. It should fit from what I've been told, but I want to try it first hand to see.
I will take pics when I tear the old motor apart to note any irregulairities from the old motor. The B20A5 also had the 81mm bore as well, so it should fit.

Re: Frankenstien crank question (Scott - 93HB Si)
Bad to the bone...that is what I was reffering to, however, there IS a DOHC 2.0L from the JDM accord that I have tracked down, and I think that that crank could very well be one to work as well.

Yes, the JDM 2L accord is an F20A motor.
I'm not sure what that will work in - probably the F-series block...as in the F22A, F23A from the 90+ accords. It's be interesting to see if the F22/23 crank would fit....I have an old F22A aswell, I can try the crank outta that and see if it fits in the B16/B18's.
