Found a way to convert JDM VSS clusters to read in MPH..........FYI

Interesting. I might try this out on my H22 Civic. The speedo is way off!

Well with newer clusters costing so damn much this will let a JDM cluster I have now work with the Electronic VSS installed now and still eliminate the mental math of the odometer and speedo.

so what exactly does it do...does it like, take the signal thats going ot the cluster itself, and change it so instead of 80 kph it'll go to 80 when you're actually @ 80 mph? kind of making it a 180 mph cluster?

It takes the VSS signal and converts it to what ever you want it to. It changes the pulse rate so that the speedometer reads correctly.
I've been looking for this type of product for years. I'm going to get one, I'll let you guys know how it works.

I stumbled upon this and knew somepeople here had to be looking for something like this too.
May get one myself. If I don't find a VTi cluster for the right price.
