Default Fitting of a sir2 b16 into a 88-91 civic hb

Looking under the hood of a buddy's crx, i noticed the engine sits very close to the radiator. I'm getting ready to drop a sir1 b16 into a 5th gen hatchback, and im assuming the fitment is similar to that of a crx, can someone verify that for me?

Correction, i was curious if the fitment was the same on a 4th gen civic hb, and if the fitment on a sir1 b16.

5th gen hatch is much different from 4th gen hatch/crx chassis as far as placement....there will be much more room for one in 5th gen.....the design from start was aid to have a b-series motor in there as stock, while 4th gen was more design to have a DOHC ZC under the hood, not a b-series...

also a rad on 5th gen is half the size, the front crossmember is non-existent in a form as in DA or EF (4th gen civics)

also a reason why a H22A fits under 5th gen hood but not under 4th gen are above you....the chassis was desinged to accept B-series swaps....

just to remind you that 1st gen electronics/ECU, tranny, mounts are different, this will require much more work and $$$ at the end

yes depending on kit used the postion can be different, but yes the chassis are the same
EF chassis (88-91 civic/CRX cars (2/3/4 dr) all share and can interchange 80% of the parts)
