Re: Fitting ITR suspension to a EG Civic (VTECoupe)
Well I also have a question related to that.
If I put the ITR suspension, will my current springs and shocks will fit the new setup ?

no issues, just get all the parts, it all bolts up....just drop the old setup and drop in the new setup....rear sway bar might require either redrilling or different mounts, depending on type of busings you want to use (nothing serious, takes less then 2 min.)...
as far as the shock question, it goes as follows...no problems with a little exception in the rear,
USDM EF/EG/DA/DC shocks use fork type shocks, therefore can't be used on JDM control arm, nor can JDM shock on a USDM control arm,
JDM from EG/DA/DC/EF all go into to the ITR LCAs and vice versa (exception is that the ITR is about shock is about 3mm wider, requring some shaving in the lower attachment point (where it bolt onto the LCA))....but if you use JDM ITR LCAs then its less work...
also if its going on a EG, you might want to consider cutting the spring ...otherwise you will have a CRV...

Yep, what they said, it all bolts in.
rear shocks will need to be replaced, the ITR doesn't use the fork shock design in the rear...if you have any mileage on your existing shocks, I would recommend just replacing your shocks/springs with something that fits an ITR.
You might have some problems sway bar with your muffler -- depends on the muffler you use. good luck...

Re: Fitting ITR suspension to a EG Civic (swarsing)
so will the shocks of a usdm gsr fit an eg and are they stiffer than the eg's?
I don't know details of the shocks -- I'm sure someone does and will post -- but I would assume that the Teg shocks have greater dampening abilities than Civic shocks because they were designed for a slightly heavier car.
The term 'stiffer' really points to the springs. Shocks hamper rebound in the spring. Which is why ricers who get tiite springs, but don't spend money on shocks (aka dampers) bounce when they go over bumps -- which is dangerous if you understand handling dynamics of automobiles.
Hope this helps.

Re: Fitting ITR suspension to a EG Civic (SpiceyRice)
its so easy its almost stupid
bolts in
my only probs were running a Spoon ITR big brake setup
and running 35mm offset Spoon wheels 15x6.5 and had to shave the caliper a bit

rear ITR shocks end in an eye.
rear non-ITR 3rd gen tegs end in a fork.
to use ITR shocks on a non-ITR integra, or on an EG---> you will need to switch to ITR Lower Control Arms... those can be had for $80-$100 a pair.
very easy suspension swap, and the ITR susp parts have stiffer bushings which allow less deflection of suspension parts during hard cornering --- translates to better road feel and more balance, and also I guess better handling/grip.
