Finally put a stock gsr exhaust on my hatch...
For the longest time I had an Apex'i N1, and it was loud as all hell, and as you know it goes under the control arm to be better flowing or some crap. Well that translates into shitty ground clearance and I ran something over and pinched up the exhaust....I also used to have a 2.5" carsound cat and the muffler shop welded on my STOCK flanges!!!!!!!! The 1.75" ones from the civic too!!! Can you believe that crap!!! And I used to have a b16/ls header combo and it was cracked on the top part....
Well that all changed, yesderday I worked my *** off and put on a stock gsr manifold, stock gsr cat, and the stock gsr exhaust. The only problem I had was that the exhaust was about an inch too long. So to anyone wondering, if you get all the stock stuff from a gsr, you will only need the muffler shop to take off an inch from the b-pipe, but not from the end where the cat is, from the end that connects to the muffler, and then the hangers and everything will line up right.
It sounds about 100000000x quieter now. I dont even feel a huge decrease in power, probably because of the way the catylitic converter was before (the flanges are 2" now and before they were 1.75") and the header isnt cracked anymore.

I wish I had a digitial camera to take pics with, but I dont have one and the only person who has one lives 200 miles away. Sorry.
The only thing that was modified was the b-pipe, it was shortened 1" from where it connects to the muffler. They also modified the hanger that sits right there too.

Re: Finally put a stock gsr exhaust on my hatch... (poison)
It does feel like I lost a little top end, but not enough to complain about. I was posting a few weeks ago about my secondaries never opening, and I just pulled the hose and plugged it with a screw. Having them open all the time is better than closed all the time I guess.
I am returning the car entirely to stock gsr, I am gonna put in the airbox and intake arm next weekend, then it will be completely stock. I am doing this because I have to goto the ref asap, before the 20th. So hopefully I will pass with all this stuff. Worst case scenario I will need a new o2 sensor or a new cat.

Because it is better them to be open all the time than to be closed all the time. Something doesn't work right, so its one or the other, I choose for them to be open.
It is only temporary, until I get the hondata and skunk2, then it wont matter anymore
