Finally got a GSR motor for my 95 Hatch...Couple questions...
With the swap I got...
Motor
Tranny
ECU
Axels
Question is what else Am I going to need? I know I am going to need the shift linkage, but whatelse? Motor mounts I would assume? Wire up the ECU, How hard is this going to be? First time swap for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

things that are mandatory that you are missing, you have mentioned:
-shifter linkage and shifter
-mounts
optional, but, i would replace these things as preventative maintenance since the engine is out:
-clutch
-timing belt
-water pump
-alternator belt
-A/C belt (if applicable)
-cap
-rotor
-plugs
-plug wires
-thermostat
-fuel filter
-adjust the valve clearance
-and oil pump if you find it to be necessary
the mechanical part of the swap is pretty straightforward. the problem that you will definitely run into, as far as the mechanical part of the swap is concerned is, the bottom of the exhaust manifold will be too short for the cat and the cat will have to be extended.
the hard part is the wiring.

Why do some people say I need the shifter? I do not think I need the actual shift do I?

you can use your stock shifter, just get the shift linkage.

If you have never done it before, I would suggest buying a cheaper Haynes or Chilton manual so you can get an idea of the procedure and have the specs to go by.

Helms by far is the best manual. On honda's owner club or what ever you want to call it, actually sells them. They are extremly extensive, normally 1500 pages long. They are about $60 a peice.
