Default Finally decided to get B18C5 for EG. But where from?

First off, before everyone starts flaming with "noob" and "search" comments, I have done searches and have been researching for a while. I have decided to either get engine from HMO or IAS. I have yet to call either, but from those who have purchased from either of these companies what was the overall quality of the engine and what all was included in the purchase. Lastly what did the ITR engine cost and what paper work came with it.

For all who help thanks so much...just a little nervous about throwing out 5+ grand for ITR.

Can not spell

I bought a JDM GSR from HMO a few months ago and I was very happy with what I got. I drove 7 hours to cali and picked up the motor my self, I suggest you do that too if you can, that way they can give you broken sensors(some cost $200). Steve is the owner and he shoved me all the sensors before i left and all is good so far, the motor hasnt been started yet but it will be in a couple of days. I have done a few compression tests on a cold motor and compaird it with cold tests of a motor that gets 240psi when hot, and mine were eaven better so compression is well above average. I didn't get any papers for the motor cuz it is a JDM version and i paid cash with no tax, HMO is definitely a good place to get an ITR I say go for it but try to pick it up yourself.

I agree, definately pick it up yourself. Its well worth it to drive a few hours. Take a couple friends and make it a weekend roadtrip.
