Default Few questions about B20zr swap into 00 SiR

I have a 2000 SiR right now and I found a B20zr block that I am thinking of getting.

Whats the diff between b20z and b20zr, more compression?

Second, I am going b20 vtec so using my b16 head and hoping to use all the other b16 parts, pumps, tranny, timing belt etc, those will work right?

Then all I need to know is about mounts I think, will it mount up or do I need any different mounts at all?

Oh and ecu and all that jazz I know least about it seems, its a 2000 b20zr so it should be obd2 like my car right so easy to wire?

thanks for your help guys, need to let the guy know probably by tomorrow if I want to buy the block.

edit: oh ya and I know i need a port & polish on the head for more flow

Default Re: Few questions about B20zr swap into 00 SiR (rlde.us)

Ive had some peeps say just build the b16a

I really just wanna know how much hp I can expect on a stock b20z with new sleeves and pistons and the b16a head.

just to compare if its worth it to do the swap or build what I got. i dont even know what base hp the b20z has, no luck on search
