A few questions...
 
ok here it goes. I have a 94 JDM h22a with a jdm p13 ecu. Which resistor box should i be using? Oh by the way...my car is the same exact thing as a 97 accord ex. Only throwing one code (6 ect) and it runs horrible. Absolutely no power whatsoever. It takes about 40 seconds to reach 40 mph. Any input will be much appreciated.

90-5 accord/prelude or 90-1 integra/civic si will work just fine.

is the water temperature sensor is it connected? how is the compression on the motor???

update!!! ok, now there is no engine codes except vtec. which isnt hooked up yet (why hook it up if engine doesnt run right?). But it still runs like crap. absolutely no power after about 3000 rpms. Lots of black smoke out of the tail pipe too.

Sounds like a few things that it could be. If you're not getting any other code except for VTEC, check your electrical grounds and ignition parts (distributor, plugs, etc) as it could be missing. Another thing to look into is the fuel, fuel pressure, injectors, filter, etc.

ok here is the complete setup..

94 Jdm h22a
97 accord injectors
97 accord harness
97 & 94 resistor box (which should i use?)
94 jdm p13
New fuel filter

I previously had about 6 codes, but i have eleminated them all. I replaced the tps and map and rewired the ECT and IAT. SO now the vtec code blinks (22) because i dont have the pressure switch wire connected yet. Going to try and replace fuel regulator with backup tomorrow and see if that helps. I have the timing advanced quite a bit so i can put the car around the driveway and into the garage. Its the only way it will run without dying. I am baffled.

new update:

No check engine light at all now. Hooked up the vtec pressure switch.
Still runs horrible
CEL comes on after 4500rpm code 23 Knock sensor (going to investigate that tonight)

Could it be that my fuel pressure is too high? The car spits out lots of black smoke when reved and has virtually no high end power. after about 2000rpms the car goes to bog city.

Any new thoughts?
