f23 swap into a ej1
What i thought about doing was swapping a f23 into a 95 coupe and boosting it. My friend is swapping out his f23 non-vtec sohc for a h22 so he would be selling me the motor for cheap. Would you guys recommend the f23 vtec for boost or the non-vtec ones? I've searched but haven't really found a thread to answer my question which is: would it be worth it? or should i just turbo my d16z6? I just thought since the f23 is a bigger motor it produce a lot more power than a d-series
Also on the f-series could you get an adappter for a b-series tranny like on the h-series?

The H2B kit will mount the F motors just the same as the H
As for the motor itself, ALL of the F-motors are great for boost. Very overbuilt, high-torque, low compression motors. Plus if you blow it up, pennies buy another one. Stud the head for high boost, and tune it really well. The d-series can make big power too, but its hard to match a long stroke 2.2L lashed to a short geared transmission for low end grunt
