F22B DOHC or F20B DOHC VTEC
I am looking to replace my current 1996 F22B SOHC engine in my 4WD Honda Odyssey.
I can source either a F22B DOHC engine from a 1997 Prelude or an F20B DOHC VTEC [Blue Top 220hp] engines [both Japanese]. Both engines come with FI, wiring loom, ECU, gearbox etc. I will retain the current gearbox as this provides the 4WD.
Which engine would be the better way to go. The Odyssey is fairly heavy and the current engine works fairly hard.

I'd go with the F20B! You can use H22A camshafts, adj. camgears, etc. on it. You can easily make it a 200WHP motor. However, I wouldn't know how the gearing would be.
