f22 in 95 dx coupe
ok so im am just curious to how hard it would be to swap in a f22 into a 95 dx coup with no ps and no ac so i wouldnt have to worry bout that. ive herd f22's love boost and i have one sitting around out of my friends 93 lude with tranny, ecu and wiring harness im just curious to what kind of cutting and chopping is involved.

I Believe its identical to a H22,H23,F20b.
Any ways not worth the trouble. You would save lots of time and head ackes doing a B20 swap. There arent as many parts available for F and H series motors. But I Would think it would pull pretty good though!!!

well i was thinkin bout it b/c i already have the car and the motor and bout 95% of the turbo kit and ive herd of ppl gettin 300+ whp out of stock boosted f22's and the torque from an f22 is much better then a d15/d16 unfortunatly i am dead set on doin a sohc set up there is just something bout the look on ppl's faces when the see they got beat by a sohc.

Man that shoulds great I would do it...You can run 10 psi on the f all day with a good tune...and later down the road u could do a h23 head swap..

there are plenty of parts for this motor, there are kits to use your D-series trans and axles.., and the torque is the best bang for the buck in a civic. there's also plenty of research out there that'll make the swap go pretty easy for you. i know Bisimoto and Bense know lots about stuff like this.

get the whole swap, buy shifter cables and a shifter box, cut a hole in your floor, buy a mount kit and custom axles. OR sell the tranny, get bisimotos f2d kit, and fab up the timing belt side mount, and enjoy being about 50+lbs lighter(than the full F swap). of course all of this is oversimplified, but f2d is bitchin!
either way its a great swap for a turbo build. those motors make the same hp as an LS, but with 140ishlbs of torque stock.

Honostly man, do your research find out which axels and mounts to buy.. I wouldnt really listen to anyone but take everything with a grain of salt, if you want to put the engine in that car HAVE AT IT!, comes down to wiring and all that bs, but i just got finished with a h22 swap into a eg and it was lots of fun.
I would imagine your axels and motor mounts need to be the same mounts as the H engine into the eg same with the axels.
either way i say go for it!
as for cutting, probably passanger side motor mount needs to be removed and obtain the hasport motor mounts for the h22 -- although I AM NOT SURE if the H and F mounts are the same.
and you need to cut the shifter area up,
take a look at https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/650329
as for the cutting to install the shifter.
