Default Exhaust setup for B series EK with JDM 2.5" collector

I am looking for some suggestions on what to run for an exhaust in my 97 Civic hatch with a B series and a JDM 4into1 header with a 2.5" collector. I would give up some power to keep the car as quiet as possible, so a cat and a quiet muffler is necessary.

What types of setups are some of you guys running?

I am running a spoon cat-jack with a ctr b-pipe and spoon n1muffler. The ctr piping is 2.25". The ctr muffler is a super quiet, but the spoon n1 makes a lot of power over the stock muffler.

I'm using a JDM cat, and a tanabe RM exhaust. I had to have the B-pipe shortened and a different size flange welded on for it to work with the JDM header. 72$, but it looks excellent.

Unless you buy some kind of JDM exhaust system which will work with the big bad JDM header, it won't fit, you'll have to get it cut back. Anyways...

If you want a quiet exhaust, just don't get one that is straight through, unless you plan on using a silencer.

i have a 99ek with a b16 and JDM 4 to 1 header, i chose the Apexi world sport exhaust and receive compliments from everyone on how quiet my car is. You will not lose any comfort at all, the b pipe needs a little modification .........but that is simple.......good luck
