Exhaust manifold for h22 in a civic coupe 1995
Sorry for being a dumbass, but what manifold should i be using, iam currently using the standard civic one , maybe there is a performance exhaust system that i should go for, or will i need to get a custom-made one ? The actual downpipe and the backbox is from accord...

Just to clarify, no Civic exhaust manifold (or header) will fit onto a H22 motor. Only a Prelude or Accord exhaust manifold will fit. Now, if you're refferring to your actual exhaust system being Civic (after the downpipe), then that's no problem. Sure, you'll want a bigger/better flowing exhaust system to help the H22 motor with less back pressure, so any aftermarket or custom exhaust will work. For an all motor H22 application, go no larger than 2.5" and you'll be fine.

I am running apexi n1 exhaust with my h22 with just a homemade testpipe at the moment. Your civic exhaust manifold just totally wouldnt work. Im sure someone has a stock header you could buy off them if you asked around.

Well, your saying it wouldnt fit, but i didnt get no exhaust system with my engine, neither did i buy one separate, neither did the guys who did the engine swap for me listed an exhaust manifold in the total price they gave me, neither they mentioned anything about giving me a free one, and it basically looks the same as it was before, soo umm, you sure ?
