exhaust for 97 hatch b16?
what will be the easiest way to get an exhaust for my car once I do the swap? I don't have an aftermarket exhaust right now. Should I go ahead and get one now to take to the muffler shop as soon as I finish the swap? Or can I buy one (besides mugen or spoon) that are meant for the b series hatch? Thanks for the input.

i know with my h22 in the accord. i had to change a flange that bolts from downpipe to cat. cause the h22 was three bolt and accord cat had two.. but that was it. youll order the one for your cars body.. i am not sure on your set up.. if you find out. i can order you mandrel piping with flanges hangers and gasket.. I can order you a muffler to. This can be in Stainless steel or aluminized piping. Let me know for some people this setup has run cheaper if not close to the cost of the big named catbacks. the plus side is that its the best piping in the world, mandrel bent. not crushed bent.

Ehron,
are you looking to use a catalytic converter? If you are, you have some options. would suggest using either an b16 exhaust manifold (either stock or aftermarket header) due to its length. Then run either a civic EX or SI CAT. after the cat, you can take the standard exhaust for a hatchback and have it cut and shortened to fit the new placement of the CAT. Option 2 is sourcing the front pipe that attaches to the cat from a civic EX or Si as well. Every exhaust manufaturer that I have seen uses the same mid-pipe for both hatch and coupe so it doesn't matter which one you use, and then you must use the hatchback rear section. If you don't plan on running a catalytic converter, than your hatchback exhaust should bolt directly to the header or exhaust manifold if you use an Si header (this will produce a very loud exhaust not that i personally find anmoying).
I have a 97 hatch with a 2000 b16 in it. I am running a CAT but was not able to find a front pipe so i had mine cut and shortened. Good luck man, I hope everything works out fine.
