Evap Purge Solenoid Routing/Bypass?
I have a JDM B18B and using a USDM ECU, so of course the CEL is on because it wants an evap purge solenoid... however the JDM motor's don't need them.
Since I'm using my same old D-series wiring harness, I figured I could get a solenoid, hook it up, plug it in, and make my ECU happy.
So I have the solenoid... which vacuum lines do I use to hook it up?
Also, I can't seem to find the plug on my wiring harness, I'm sure it's there though.. but if I for whatever reason can't find the plug, is there a bypass to the evap solenoid? Something similar to the CKF sensor bypass, only with the evap purge solenoid instead.
Everything is OBDII by the way. If anyone can help me out with this I'd appreciate it.
Thanks guys

one line goes to canister the other to intake manifold. ecu looks at fuel trim and fuel tank pressure to determin if the solenoid is working so i don't think there is a bypass contact your acura dealer and ask for emission hose diagram for the same year teg.

Re: Evap Purge Solenoid Routing/Bypass?
Solved it. Turns out I already had the solenoid, but it was
1. dead
2. plugged into a dead wire from when my car was automatic before we did an auto/manual conversion on it.
Replaced the solenoid, the vacuum lines, and plugged it into the right plug... CEL is gone
