Default EVAP Canister Shut valve ?!?!?!

Im swapping a 97 B18B into my 96 cx hatch, and reusing the cx harness. My question is the Evap canister that came with the B18B has a "evap emission control canister vent shut valve" on it, but my cx harness does not have the wiring for it. So would it be ok to reuse my civic evap canister or do i have to wire for the b18b evap?

I reused my civic one. If you notice the civic carcol canister does not have a purge solinoid on it. The Teg cansiter does. You can wire the canister up but will not purge because it needs another signal from the gas tank that tells it to open. 96-98 cx, dx, and i think hx do not have the fuel tank pressure sensor. Get ready for code 91 if you using a usdm ecu. Doesn't hurt performance though.
