engine problems
 

ok first off..i would like to say that the search function on this website sucks my ass!!!! Every time i search for something it comes up with no results. OK with that monkey off my back, on to the problems. I just got my car running and it runs like total crap. Its throwing codes 3map(intermittantly), 6 ect, 7 tps, and 10. Andi am having a hell of a time getting all the vaccum lines to go to the right places. Please post any thoughts on where I should begin first or any quick fixes that i could do. The car has absolutely NO power at all when driven.

hmm check your timing ,fuel and sparkplugs change your motor oil. You know the usual tune em up things to do bro check your compression and your all set any bolt-ons there?

well i just put in new plugs, wires, oil, and coolant. Also I rotated my dizzy toward the opposite end (firewall) and that made a world of difference. But it still runs like doo doo. not sure how to check the fuel and i need to check the compression still.

what is ur set up? make sure u have the vac lines correct! this will make the car run like doodoo.

does anyone have a good picture or diagram of the vaccum hose setup. I have a chiltons manual, but i don't have the money to get a helms. Thanks.
