Default Engine Missing and I can't find it!!! f22B

I have a f22B DOHC in an 94 lx accord...

The engine has a bad miss..
I can pull the #1 and #4 plug wires and the engine continues to run (rough)/ no change.. I can pull the #2 and #3 and the engine will die... Telling me that the # 1 and #4 are my problem areas...

I have replaced:

Plugs
Plug wires
Dis cap
All fuel injectors

Cylinder compression is about 180 on all cyl..

Timing belt is aligned correct. Number one cyl aligned TDC with the number one plug.

I might note that while having the timing light in the#1 plug wire it seams to only fire every few times never consistent, fires correct on #2 #3.

What am I missing??
Have any ideas?

Thanks Ron

OK so what might I replace?

Strange that it only seams to be firing only on #2 and #3.

I had a very similar problem like yours, but mine is H22A4

I was missing cyclinder 1 and 2 3 and 4 were running great. it turn out to be the egr valve, I had the plugs bad try pulling the vacuum on that.

what do you mean by it being your EGR valve... was it just bad? or stuck open? stuck closed?....

i took a perfectly good running f22b out of my wives car(did an h22a swap)... then put into a 95 accord that had no motor to sell.... the problem i ran into is it idles like ****... the timing is sporadic... and if you pull cylinder #1 nothing happens.... its almost like #1 and #2 are firing at the same time.... ive changed the distributor the coil, plugs, wires...still nothing.... any ideas?
