EJ2 H22 hybrid problem
What's up everyone?
I drive a 95 honda civic coupe with a JDM h22a swap. Recently a problem has surfaced when I push the car hard, say like getting on to the highway, the car will cut out just before 7000rpms and vtec won't engage. Then sometimes the engine light will come on or other times it won't but the problem will still be there.
The other night when it happened, I checked the codes and the ecu was throwing code 7 (throttle position sensor) and code 22 (VTEC pressure valve). Now in the past I've replaced the TPS sensor had when I had the problem the engine light for code 7 would come on automatically when I started the car. This time it won't.
It's werid cause when I start up the car and let it get to proper temperature the car will engage in vtec no problem, but that's if Im not taking past 6000rpm, but as soon I go past that point vtec won't engage at all.
what could be the problem?
thanks alot for help!

Re: EJ2 H22 hybrid problem (EJ2_Squadron)
double check that all of your ground have clean contact points, make sure you have all of you grounds. That might be the simple solution to the ELD code. Get ride of that first then worry about the other ones

make sure the ground for the thermostat housing is there, that is a very easy one to overlook. I have fixed that one for several people in the past
