Default EG B18C Wiring with ECU Jumper Harness

Perhaps an elementary question, but here goes:

Motor to be swapped: OBD2 JDM B18C (year 1998)
Vehicle to receive swap: 1994 EG Hatch SI
I'm going to use the JDM OBD2 ECU.

My question is regarding the wiring for the knock sensor and IABs: when using a jumper harness to use an OBD2 ECU in an OBD1 car, will I run the wires to the original ECU plugs in the cabin or to the end of the jumper harness that's actually plugged into the ECU?

Thanks in advance.

Sean
