I have a 93 civic ex. I have a friend who wrecked his 00 si and i 've gotten his motor, tranny,linkage,axles. I have heard that i can use a chipped OBD1 ecu and my stock engine harness , all i have to do is change my distributor to like a eg dx and cut one leg off for fitment . The problem is is that i want to use his ECU, engine harness, and distributor. SO my question is how can i get it to work , ive tried that hybrid honda garage, but it said it was a direct blot in swap just to make sure vtec is wired up correctly on the pin out. Any help is appriciated.

here is my advice ,
i got somewhat the same swap ,
i got a 92 vx with a b16a2,
i used my vx harness, u can use your ex harness,
u should get your ecu chipped, and get a obd1 dist,
and your set , ,
dont use obd 2 ecu , it sucks and u will have much more problems
and use your ex harness, the b16a2 harness is obd2 and its a 1 piece harness , your 93 ex is i think a 2 piece , so its just a waste of your time ,
just use your ex harness, and have your ecu chipped, and u can use the b16a2 dist, or u can get a del sol sir or gsr 94-95 dist.
