Re: Ef4DR LS/V AWD setup in the making...
Yeah that's not too far. I use to go to philly to ride my bike all the time. Lol
Update:
Popped my yellow pump cherry!
Got the rest of the fittings needed for the fuel system.
Haven't made the plate to put back in the trunk yet but here is what it will look like... nice and stock + some bars.
And the crazy part. Fired her up last night on the old map. Differences being, 880cc - 1000cc injectors and upped the base pressure. Let it run for like 5 seconds. No check engine lights so I shut her down.
Tonight after work. John from JK-tuning/IMW came out to get her up and running and take out for a drive. Everything engine wise went well. On the test drive the car vibrated terribly. I automatically assumed the driveshaft since shortening it myseld isn't the most precise way to do it. I was wrong. Raised the car up an inch and it is super smooth. No excessive shaking, vibrating, etc...
Driving her to work tomorrow morning and heading straight to the shop afterwards to slap her on the dyno!!! Can't wait for the numbers and to see how she feels with traction!!!

love the build.
i love how you did the rear end , i guess the rear lca brackets brace thing you made could work for a fwd car just to save weight aswell.
any vids

I have been slacking soooo bad with making time to get on here...
The car is running great still. Only a couple minor issues, non drive train related though.
Here's a short fun video from today.

Gonna be going to the track next saturday to play around some now that it isnt a million degrees outside anymore.

It has been on the dyno with the built motor in it and made 485hp but that motor is out of it right now. Probably right around 400 street tuned with a stock block gsr in it.

this is sick!
what is the power splitage with your drivetrain set up?
in the video it looks like it has most of the power in the rear wheels.
I am doing a build on my 95 Acura. looking for 500 hp, awd.
only problems I see are the sub frame and the rear suspension, and gas tank.
it will be an lsv Frankenstein. can you enlighten some knowledge on me what what I should do to make the awd drivetrain work?
thanks.
and what are the black pipes in your trunk?

bad *** build dude. how are your rear axles holding up? I shattered one of mine the second day the car was together but I was out beating the **** out of it lol. I think a part of it was due to the axle angles so im probably going to change my rear diff mounts up a bit.

Great build man. That thing is a beast. One thing I am curious about is how did you compensate four the difference in gear ratios between the crv trans and the wagovan rear end?

nice projetc, really like it, i want make to 4wd conversation too have quesion about rear trailing arms, why you did not use the wagon ones? they are to long? and with your trailing arm, the axles ar not touching with the rear suspension ?

Re: Ef4DR LS/V AWD setup in the making...
From what I've seen the wagon arms are too longI'm not sure about the axels though. Just from eye balling it i think if you used stock trailing arms and implanted crv bearing assemblies that the axels would end up hitting the suspension. I'm thinking of moving where the lower control arms mount on the trailing arm back a few inches and moving the whole shock assembly and crossmember back too. Not really sure if theres an easier way to do it

Re: Ef4DR LS/V AWD setup in the making...
i will do shortening of ferio 4wd rear trailing arms(they are to long) but the front of arm will be from 2wd trailing arm, and ''end '' of arm , from 4wd (the rear lower and upper arm assembilies, i think it will be easier and the axles will not be to long
